About AIMS-chat	English (USA)
This list is intended for people who studied, worked, or is in some way connected to AIMS, but it is open to the public for anyone interested in socialising with the AIMS community. Apart from Science, Technology, Academia and Development in Africa, anything can be discussed here; for example scholarships, (non-AIMS) workshop announcements, and job offers in those fields are posted here. Opportunities abroad may also be posted here. Other lists will be created if specific interests generate enough traffic. Using AIMS-chat
To post a message to all the list members, send email to aims-chat@aims.ac.za. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to AIMS-chat
Subscribe to AIMS-chat by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
